87th Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting

All is merry and bright in the bustling streets of New York City. Gather your friends and family, bundle up, and head to the annual tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center.

This free event is completely open to the public, and one of the best ways to welcome the holiday season. Every year, thousands of visitors and locals alike gather on the sidewalks, and millions of people watch the tree light up at home.

The tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, December 4 on Rockefeller Plaza, and will remain on display in the plaza between West 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues through Friday, January 17, 2020.

'Tis the season for giving! Once the holidays have passed, the Christmas tree will be donated to Habitat for Humanity. Famous in New York for its holiday tradition, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree continues to be a symbol of hope for many.

From our family to yours, we wish you a joyful holiday season.
