A Glimpse Of The Magic: Spending The Holidays In New York City

Most people think of New York as a steadfast cosmopolitan city that doesn’t stop for anyone. And too be honest, they are right. However, during the holidays, nothing is more magical than visiting NYC. The same energy that is applied to everyday life is converted into a sparkling wonderland of festive lights, holiday trees, and bustling markets filled to the brim with unique gifts, delectable street foods, and tourist from all over the globe.

A perfect winter’s night would start with a visit to Rockefeller Center to see the tree and enjoy some hot cocoa in the warm glowing lights. Next a short walk to Bryant Park will afford you a chance to strap on some ice skates and flex your skills in the rink. Followed by a charming stroll through Bryant Park Winter Village that specializes in craft gifts and ornaments. After snagging a pipping hot soup or fresh pressed panini from one of the local food vendors, head to see Radio City Christmas Spectacular or opt for the more low key George Balanchine’s Nutcracker performed by the New York City Ballet. Whichever your mood, the night wraps up with a sophisticated craft cocktail from The Parlour Bistro and Lounge at The Roger and then a cozy night of sleep in our luxurious beds.
