"America The Beautiful" Flower Show

Escape the concrete jungle for a few hours and head to the Macy’s Flower Show, a New York City tradition that shouldn’t be missed. Just a short, scenic walk from our Midtown hotel, the annual two-week floral exhibition at Macy’s Herald Square will run March 20th through April 3rd. This year, the flower show is appropriately named "America the Beautiful." The ground level of Macy’s Herald Square transforms into a not-so-secret garden that is covered in floor-to-ceiling greenery, illustrating the story of our nation’s beauty through flora indigenous to each region from sea to shining sea. In the two-week period there will be fun activities, starting with a performance by the cast of the Broadway musical "Beautiful – The Carole King Musical," a wreath making class with the Lesportsac shop, family fun day in the kids’ department, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and a dessert-making class, to name a few. After a day well spent sniffing aromatic blooms, treat your taste buds to a cocktail with me at The Parlour.
