Open House NYC, October 12th-14th

What if we told you that for one weekend only you could access an array of architectural masterpieces, landmarks, and attractions that are normally off-limits. Would you want to go? Open House New York is a curious visitors' wildest fantasy and a wonderful way to experience New York City’s rich culture. Get intimate with the Big Apple and explore its hidden nooks and cultural fortunes at over 250 locations throughout Gotham. It’s a citywide celebration of architecture and urban design. This year, Open House New York has added an extra day, providing three full days of activities. We are looking forward to the official kick-off festivity, “Factory Friday,” where more than a dozen factories will be opening their doors for a behind-the-scenes peek at the well-oiled machine of NYC’s production industry. Everything from distilled spirits to structural steel to hand-sewn silk flowers will be on display. Repeat favorites are the Little Red Lighthouse in Washington Heights, Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, and the Brooklyn Army Terminal. But we prefer to map our own route.
