The Majesty of Swan Lake

Swan Lake, by Peter Tschaikovsky, is one of the most famous ballets in the world. From September 19- October 1, the New York City Ballet will be performing this popular masterpiece. The venue for the performance, the David H. Koch Theater is only about 25 minutes from The Roger using public transportation. Choreographer and director Peter Martins first presented the ballet in 1996 with the Royal Danish Ballet. Now, Mr. Martins is bringing that experience to New York City with some small changes to match the historic reputation of the NYC Ballet Company. Swan Lake is a beautiful romantic tragedy, and the New York City Ballet, under the direction of Peter Martins, brings the moving and heart-breaking story to life in this two week long engagement. Once the breathtaking performance is complete, make your way back to The Roger for some room service from The Parlour. This way you can enjoy fine dining in the comfort of your own room.
