Step Back in Time to the Jazz Age

The 13th annual Jazz Age Lawn Party is taking place on June 15th and 16th from 11 am - 5 pm on Governors Island. It is the most authentic example of music, costumes, and jazz-centric activities. The Jazz Age was an infamous time in American history when underground speakeasies were the heartbeat of the New York social scene. If you’ve ever fantasized about what it would be like to party during that period, you are in luck. Just a short ferry ride from the southernmost tip of Manhattan is a 1920’s summertime oasis waiting for you. Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra excite thousands of the chicest flappers and sheiks to swing the day away while lawn games such as croquet and activities like vintage portraits keep participants entertained and busy. Fortunately, long gone are the days of Prohibition Era, and cocktails flow freely. This year's sponsors are VieVité Côtes de Provence Rosé and Aperol. Mark your calendars, this is going to be one party you don't want to miss.
